Our Mission

Our mission is to advance progressive values and to help build the Democratic Party into a majority party in America. We focus on federal and statewide general elections and on issues of national importance, and we support like-minded grassroots efforts.

• all people have equal opportunity to achieve their personal goals, and to live and learn in good health and security;
• prosperity is widespread and the vulnerable are protected;
• the freedoms of speech, press, religion and reproductive freedom are protected, and mutual responsibility guides our economic and social relations;
• we all live in a healthy and sustainable natural environment;
• national security is based on strength and international cooperation, and force is a last resort; and
• our government is chosen fairly and is responsive to all the people.
